Refunds and Cancellation
Thirty days to change your mind on hosting, no questions and no retention call. This page says exactly what is refundable, what is not and why, and how long the money takes to come back.

1The thirty-day period
Every new shared, business and reseller hosting plan comes with thirty days to change your mind. Ask within thirty days of the first invoice being paid and we refund it in full.
You do not need a reason and we will not put you through a retention script. If something is wrong we would like to know so we can fix it for the next person, but telling us is optional and refusing does not affect the refund.
The period applies to a first purchase of a plan, not to each renewal of it. A renewal invoice is covered by the cancellation rules below instead.
2What is not refundable
Domain registrations, renewals and transfers. Once a domain is registered the registry has been paid and that payment cannot be reversed by us or by anyone else. This is true of every registrar, and we pass registry fees on at cost. The domain remains yours for the term you paid for and you are free to transfer it away.
Edge platform usage already delivered. Bandwidth served, storage occupied and video encoded are billed for what was used. We do not bill for usage you have not had.
SSL certificates and licences bought on your behalf, where the supplier has already issued them.
Accounts terminated for breach of our Terms of Service or Acceptable Use Policy — spam, malware, fraud. We will always show you what we found.
3Cancelling a service
Cancel from your dashboard, or email support@greenhostinggo.com from the address on your account. Either is enough; there is no form to chase and no phone call to sit through.
Tell us whether to stop at the end of the paid term or immediately. Stopping at the end of the term is the default: you keep what you have paid for. Stopping immediately ends the service straight away and does not create a refund for the remainder, except within the thirty-day period above.
Take a backup before the service ends. We hold your data for thirty days afterwards and will help you get it out within that window, but after that it is deleted permanently.
4Cancelling a renewal
Renewal invoices are issued before the renewal date so you always have warning. Cancel before that date and nothing is charged.
If a renewal is charged for a service you had already asked us to cancel, tell us and we will refund it in full — that is our mistake, not a judgement call.
If you simply forgot and realise soon after, write to us. Where the service has not been meaningfully used since renewing, we will normally refund it. We would rather do that than keep money from someone who did not want to spend it.
5If we end the service
Where we discontinue a service or terminate for our own convenience, we refund the unused portion of the term in full, and we give you notice and help moving elsewhere.
Where availability falls short of what we promise in the Terms of Service, contact support. Account credit is our usual remedy and it is applied without argument.
6How a refund is paid
Refunds go back to the method you paid with. That is a requirement of the payment system, not a preference of ours — a UPI payment returns to the same UPI account, a card payment to the same card.
We start a refund within two working days of agreeing it. After that the timing is with your bank: UPI and net banking usually land in three to five working days, cards in five to ten. If it has not arrived after ten working days, tell us and we will chase it with the reference number.
Where tax was charged, it is refunded with the rest.
