Video

Upload, encode and stream — encoding included.

Transcoding is what usually makes video hosting expensive, billed by the minute. Here it comes with the plan, so the cost of a video library is storage and delivery and nothing else.

Video Starter

per month · ₹3,990 a year

  • 100 GB video delivery

From a file on your desk to a video playing on your page.

  1. Upload

Drop a file into a library from your dashboard, or push it through the API from your own application. Any common format works.

  2. It encodes itself

The file is transcoded into several qualities automatically. You do not choose bitrates or pay per minute — it happens and it is included.

  3. Embed it

Copy the embed code or the iframe into your page. Playback is adaptive, so a viewer on a weak connection gets a lower quality rather than a buffering wheel.

What comes with it

The whole pipeline

Playback

CapabilityWhat it does for you

DRMFor content where token protection is not enough.
Referrer restrictionsPlay only when embedded on domains you nominate.
Direct download blockingStops the file being pulled straight out of the page source.

Knowing what happened

CapabilityWhat it does for you
Per-video statisticsViews, watch time, and where viewers stopped watching.

About video

Is encoding really free?

Yes. There is no per-minute transcoding charge. You pay for how much you store and how much is watched, which is the honest way to bill video — a library nobody watches should be cheap.

How much delivery will I actually use?

Rough arithmetic: an hour of 1080p is around 1.5 GB. So 100 GB of delivery is about 65 hours watched a month. Video Starter suits a course or a handful of product videos; Video Pro suits a channel with regular viewers.

Can I use my own player?

Yes. The API gives you the playback URLs and you can use any player that handles HLS. The included player exists so you do not have to.

Will it stop people downloading my videos?

Token-protected playback and direct download blocking stop casual copying, and DRM raises the bar further. Nothing stops someone screen-recording, and any provider claiming otherwise is overselling.

What formats can I upload?

The common ones — MP4, MOV, MKV, AVI, WebM and more. They are all normalised during encoding.

Where are videos stored?

In the regions you choose when you create the library, and delivered from the whole edge network regardless. Store near where you upload; deliver everywhere.

Migrating a library?

If you already have videos somewhere else, tell us how many and where. We will move them across for you rather than leaving you to re-upload one at a time.
