Terms of Service
This is the agreement between you and GreenHostingGo when you buy hosting, a domain or edge services from us. It is written to be read, not to be survived — where a clause protects us, it says so plainly.

1The agreement
By creating an account, placing an order or using any service on this site, you accept these terms. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, you confirm you are entitled to bind it.
We may change these terms — for example when we add a service or a law changes. Material changes are emailed to the address on your account at least thirty days before they take effect, and the date at the top of this page always tells you which version you are reading. Continuing to use the service after that date means you accept the revision.
2What we provide
Shared and business cPanel hosting, reseller hosting, virtual private servers, domain registration and an edge delivery platform covering caching, object storage, video delivery and DNS. What is included on each plan is listed on that plan's page, and the limits shown there are the limits actually set on the server.
Our shared hosting currently runs from a data centre in Virginia, in the United States. A second location in India is planned but is not live; we will not tell you otherwise to close a sale. Edge delivery is served from locations worldwide, including in India.
We aim for 99.9% availability in any calendar month, excluding scheduled maintenance announced in advance, and excluding time lost to your own code, plugins or configuration. Where we fall short, contact support: we would rather credit an account than argue about a clause.
3Your account
You are responsible for the credentials on your account and for anything done with them. Choose a password you do not use elsewhere and tell us immediately if you think it has been exposed.
Keep the email address on your account current. Invoices, renewal notices, security warnings and migration instructions all go there, and an address that bounces is the most common reason a service lapses.
You must be at least eighteen, or have the consent of a parent or guardian, to hold an account.
4What you may run
Anything lawful, within the resource limits of your plan. The detail is set out in our Acceptable Use Policy, which forms part of this agreement.
In short: no spam, no malware, no phishing, no infringement of other people's copyright, and nothing that consistently degrades service for others sharing the server. We would always rather email you about a heavy process than suspend an account, and we will do that first wherever the problem is not causing active harm.
5Billing and renewals
Services are billed in advance for the term you choose — monthly, annually or longer. Prices are shown in Indian rupees and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise; customers billed outside India may be charged in another currency where we offer one.
The rate you sign up at is the rate you renew at. We do not run a low first term followed by a higher renewal. If we change list prices, existing customers stay on the rate they signed up at for as long as the service runs without a break.
Invoices are issued before the renewal date and payment is due on that date. An unpaid invoice suspends the service after a grace period; data is retained for a further period described in the next section. Domain registrations are governed by the registry's own renewal and redemption rules, which we pass on at cost and cannot waive.
Refunds are covered by our Refunds and Cancellation Policy.
6Backups and your data
Your content is yours. We claim no ownership of anything you upload and we do not use it for any purpose other than running the service you bought.
We take daily backups of shared and business hosting accounts and you can restore them yourself from your control panel at no charge. Business plans keep thirty days of history. Backups are a courtesy and a safety net, not a substitute for your own copy — keep one, particularly before a large change.
If you cancel, or an account is terminated for non-payment, data is kept for thirty days and then deleted. Ask us within that window and we will get you an export.
7Suspension and termination
You may cancel at any time from your dashboard or by emailing support. We will not make you telephone anyone to leave, and migrating away is free.
We may suspend a service without notice where it is actively harming others — an account sending spam, serving malware, or under an attack that is affecting the server. In every other case we contact you first and give you a reasonable chance to put it right.
We may terminate for repeated or deliberate breach of these terms or of the Acceptable Use Policy, or for non-payment after notice. Where we terminate for our own convenience, we refund the unused portion of the term.
8Liability
We provide the service with reasonable skill and care, but we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we are not responsible for loss caused by your own software, plugins, themes or configuration.
Except where the law does not allow it to be limited, our total liability to you in any twelve-month period is limited to the amount you paid us for the affected service in that period. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profit or lost data where you held no independent backup.
Nothing here limits liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
9Governing law
This agreement is governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from it. Before going to court, please write to us — almost everything is settled faster and more cheaply by email.
